My mother called, and I told her I had to go because the Ruff's and Ballow's where here. The cell phone reception is not real good in the hospital, and my mother thought I said the "Russian Blues" were here. She assumed it was a pro sports team, probably hockey (the Blue Jackets had been by a few days earlier). She called the other boys, all excited about the visit by the "Russian Blue", but no one seemed to know who they were or what kind of sports team they were. Brandon thought she misunderstood and it might be the St. Louis Blues. My mother said it was unlikely anyone would come all the way from St. Louis, but I am not sure why she thought it more reasonable that they would come from Russia. Still, everyone at home was very excited by the visit, whoever they might be. Several hours later the mix up was discovered, and we had a lot of fun with it.
The Ruff's and Ballow's, along with the LSU game really lifted Tyler's spirits. We got the first smiles of the day. All and all, the rough day finished out pretty good. We are now waiting for Monday and the results of today's tests. This will be our first evaluation of the results of the Chemo treatments.
