Blood Work - And Waiting

Tyler is still on J-5. He has a negative reaction to the blood. They have stopped the transfusions and given him some med's. The blood bank is re-typing the blood and sending over a new batch. Tyler is still hoping to come home tonight. He needs at least one more transfusion, which will take about 2 1/2 hours after it arrives. Then, at around 11:00 tonight, a decision will be made about Tyler's ability to come home. Kathy is at Children's with Tyler. I am at home and have prepared his TPN & IV in anticipation of him coming home tonight. We are now just waiting. Again.

Brandon called a little while ago. He is a sophomore at OSU. He called to say he just received his acceptance letter to Fisher College of Business. We are very proud of him. He is doing a great job at OSU.

We are so happy for you and so proud of the young man you have become. What an opportunity for you to accomplish all your dreams. And you have set an excellent example for Tyler - Way to go Big Brother (or should I say older brother?)

We love you,
