Dublin High School Hockey Association

Kathy and I would like to say again, we simply can not express enough our appreciation for the support we have received from the community. The notes and cards of encouragement are wonderful. With all the meals, I do not believe we have cooked in two months. Only a week ago we added a map just to see where people are, and already over 100 friends and supporters of have signed it from around the country (and some around the world). We have gone through several hundred wrist bands, and are ordering more. We find it both amazing and humbling.

Others continue to ask us what they can do to help. Actually there are some wonderful community events coming up, and we would love to have your participation.

On Saturday evening, February 2nd from 8pm-10pm, Keller Williams Consultants Realty has leased the Dublin Recreation Center and are sponsoring LAPS for LOVE for TYLER. The information is in the column to the right. It is an event where volunteers come to walk or run at the Rec Center, after getting sponsors to donate $5 per lap. They have a lot of people coming, and are looking for even more runners, walkers, and sponsors. It will be a great time. I know they were also looking at having a sports celebrity there, so if anyone has a contact they could call Tracy Chambers at 496-5353 (or they could call me and I will pass it on at 395-1776).

The Dublin Jerome Basketball Boosters is having their third "Buck-a-Shot" during half time at the varsity game Tuesday, January 22nd.

On Saturday morning, February 2nd, Dublin Jerome High School is having their annual "Snowball Softball" fund raiser dedicated to Tyler. The boys say it is a great time.

Then, I just received this flyer from the Dublin High School Hockey Association. We appreciate your support in all of these events.

Hi Tyler and family - Haley and I are participating in Love for Laps. I received this response from someone in my office when I circulated the sponsorship form:

I just finished looking at Tyler’s website and it is extremely difficult to keep from tearing up. It is especially poignant to me as I noticed one of the links was for Stefan Tarapchak; a man (and his family) I know from my church. He has a special place in my heart; during a time when we were at Children’s years ago, Stefan came by every day to see how we were doing. I am sure he is a help to Tyler and his family as well.

It is a small world with a lot of good people. Glad to hear you're home. Take care, the Ruddles

Tyler, you have touched more lives than you can even imagine.
Thanking God that you are home, and praying you won't see J-5 again for 2 weeks. Joyce

The outpouring of prayers and support for Tyler's Fight continue to both amaze and bless our family.

Thank you for the love and support you have showered on Kyle and Kathy and the boys. It is difficult when we have to leave them but we do so knowing that our family is in great hands with a community that has wrapped their arms around them.

God Bless each of you - Your kindness will forever be a beacon of light and love for our family, and a testament to God's Grace.

Terry and Bonnie Alfriend

So glad to see you all are home! Sorry we won't see you tomorrow at clinic, but happy all the same - it's nice not to have to go there! Hopefully we will be able to see you next Monday - that is our 'normal' clinic day. Tyler, hope you get to feeling better and your hands and feet start to heal.

Enjoy your time home and enjoy your school work!

Take care and we'll see you soon!
Heather & Nick Timbrook (and Chris and Noah)

Dear Tyler,
We are very happy to hear you are home. Tommy would like to come by and see you this weekend. He will call you on Sat. to see when a good time is. Maybe he could bring lunch to you. I hope you get lots of rest. Stay strong and don't ever give up because none of us here are, we believe by your birthday you will be feeling good enough to go out and celebrate it with all your friends. Take care, Love,
Mrs.Beith and the Beith family
