Dublin Jerome Snowball Softball

FIGHT TO WIN!

Dublin Jerome Snowball Softball
February 2nd, 9:00-Noon

One of the wonderful things about Dublin Jerome is its caring and compassionate learning community.

We are asking for you to help support one of our families in need, the Alfriend family. Tyler Alfriend, one of our sophomores, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Burkitt’s Lymphoma and leukemia. He will miss the remainder of the school year and the family faces major medical costs. We appreciate your wonderful response so far to our fundraising efforts, and we will keep you updated on all of our efforts.

Our fourth annual Staff/Student Snowball Softball Games will be held Feb. 2nd from 9:00-
noon. This is a recreational event for all Jerome students and staff to participate in 2-3 softball games. Students are encouraged to participate (no softball experience or athletic ability necessary) and form their own teams or sign up individually in the office and we will mix students and staff together to form teams.

Besides the exciting games, a chili cook-off, hot dogs, and other assorted goodies will be
provided.

If you would like to donate, please call the main office at 873-7377.

All proceeds will go to our Dublin Jerome Family Fund and this year’s recipient is Tyler
Alfriend. Even if your student does not want to participate, please encourage them to come and
help support this worthwhile event for Tyler.

People can also call 873-2353 to donate baked goods, side dishes (main dishes are hotdogs and chili), or beverages for the event. Also, if they want to volunteer their time, they can also 873-2353.

Dear Kyle & Kathy,
I just learned of Tyler's diagnosis with tonight's newspaper ad for Laps for Love. I am adding the link to our family blog to rally more prayer warriors. When I met you all through Erik in 1st grade I saw a wonderful Christian family. Your blog is sharing your faith and is encouraging to our own lives. We are praying for you all to find strength and comfort as you Fight this Fight. Thank you for the updates. We will be checking back.
