Still Fighting

Tyler had a difficult night. He is feeling better now, and the pain is less.

More tests are being run.

A series of x-rays have been taken, and we are waiting for those results.

More blood and platelet transfusions have been ordered.

Tyler has been placed in isolation.

Dear Tyler,

You're as tough as those football players were last night up in freezing Greenbay--"Fight-to-Win TMA"! You're the champion!

I received this from a friend of a friend. I am reading constantly and thinking of you all. Continue to keep a positive attitude. Your quotes are truely inspirational and so true.

Dear Tyler and Family,

I have been following your blog and keeping you all in my prayers. Your quotes have been so meaningful and touching. This morning I received a quote in my inbox from an online spiritual newsletter and I immediately thought of you. May it bring you comfort and hope.

"Do not look forward in fear to the changes in life, look to them with full hope that as they arise, God, whose very own you are, will lead you safely through all things; and when you cannot stand it, God will carry you in His arms.

Do not fear what may happen tomorrow; the same understanding Father who cares for you today will take care of you then and every day.

He will either shield you from suffering or will give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace,
and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations."

~ St. Francis de Sales
