Getting Stong

Tyler is feeling good. These few days at home have been great. J-5 was getting very old.

Tyler is catching up with his school. He has completed all of Health for the year. Right now he is moving through English. He is committed to getting though the entire year before summer starts. I have learned to never question Tyler when he puts his mind to a goal.

Tyler's counts are rebounding fast. The doc's said he would need at least another week of recovery, but Tyler was insistent he would be starting chemo this week. Tyler was right. Blood counts are now rising fast and chemo is scheduled to begin Wednesday.

Chemo round 5 is expected to be a rough one, so Tyler has been anxious to get going. As Winston Churchill said, "If you are going through hell, just keep moving."

Please pray for Tyler's strength through this next round.

Brett Workman was able to attend church on Sunday. He is 100% confident he will be cured. About 1,000 people at his church believe him. So do I.

Tyler, Hang in there buddy. I just recently came across your page after reading AJ's update and saw your mom's posting. In April I will have been in remission from Burkitt's for 2 years. I too had a mass in the abdomen w/mets to a kidney and lung. The chemo was tough but it worked and I am thankfull. Just letting you know we are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. Glad to hear you were back on the road doing some driving. It reminded me of one of my first times back at the wheel. My 3 year old son was in the back and he said to me...Mom, you still remember how to drive!! He was so excited not to be riding with his dad!
Keep up the good work!

Tyler, its funny you are catching up in school that is so great. AJ posted twice on his carepage, once to thank all his "adoring fans" and once after i posted that i had brought home 200 pounds of school books and he would soon be ready to start up. His second post was "I am not doing homework - AJ" Funny guy he was. Anyway, glad to hear you're doing well bud, hang tough now, you got so many people thinking of you.....
