Clear Scans for Christmas!

As the saying goes, what a difference a year makes. We meet with our oncologist at Children's to review the two days of tests. All results continue to be good! How is that for a Christmas present!

Tyler will continue to get scans for another 6 months, after which he move from "remission" to "cured".

With the help of a great friend and neighbor, and the support of many friends, Tyler delivered gift bags of with a "build your own" stuffed animals, along with some other gifts. We were able to take enough to give to every child on J-5, and in the day clinic. And there were enough extra to take over the the cancer clinic for them to pass out for a couple of days.

I read a quote this morning that reminded me of your family. It is from St. John of the Cross and it says, "at the end of the day we shall be judged by our loving." Your family's love has touched the lives of others in so many ways this past year. May you have a blessed New Year!

Way to go Tyler! Great post and great blogspot!! I love the quote from a mom, " "You don’t know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have."
I have another one for you that I have used on Christian's site several times:
"A healthy man (child) has many wishes. A sick man (child) has one." How true is that?!!
We are so proud of the warrior you are. Stay strong and know many of us out here are praying for you and MANY angels above are watching out over you..including our ^^Christian^^
I am going back to Washington DC February 1-3,2009 for the 4th time in 10 months to petition to congress/senate for more funding for pediatric cancer research along with other CureSearch people. Please keep us in your prayers as we fight for all heroic cancer kids!
