Gavin Wagner

A couple of weeks ago I posted about some Heroes in the War on Burkitt's. One of those heroes is 7 year old Gavin Wagner. Gavin fought Burkitt's and beat it into remission this summer, one month before Tyler went into remission. Recently Gavin relapsed, and we have posted updates on his progress. After a long courageous fight, Gavin passed away last night at 8:02. His entire family was by his side. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Mason McLeod has just had his bone marrow transplant for relapsed Burkitt's. All is proceeding as planned, and Mason's spirits are high. Please keep him in your prayers.

Our good friend Ryan Salmons is back home and feeling better. The fight is not over, but each day gets him closer. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

The battle with cancer is never a fair fight. Cancer does not follow any rules. It continues to surprise and blind-side. Trey Martens has been knocked down very hard, but he continues to fight. He is in a lot of pain right now. Please keep him in your prayers.

Tristan Saputo is fighting relapsed Burkitt's. He has received his new bone marrow. He is still in the battle, and fighting hard. The new cells are working, and the flare ups have been reduced. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer. "Normal" life is in sight!

And there are many others fighting hard. A list of a few are to the right. Please remember them all in your thoughts and prayers.

What a precious child - a precious life - Gavin Wagner, who left far too soon. I hold his smile in my thoughts and his family in my prayers.
